Andrei entered the Repin Institute of Fine Arts in Saint Petersburg, Russia in 1987, studying under the People’s Artist Yelemeyev.

He has been teaching at the Repin Institute of Fine Arts in Saint Petersburg, Russia since 1993, and now he serves as the deputy dean of this institute.

Andrei is a member of the Russian Union of Artists, a creative staff member of the creative studio at the Russian Academy of Arts, and the deputy dean of the Repin Institute of Fine Arts in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
