Aleksandr graduated from the I.E. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in Leningrad in 1993.

In 1997, He completed studies at the Monumental Studio of the Russian Academy of Arts under the guidance of Academician A.A. Mylnikov.

Aleksandr currently serves as an associate professor at the Repin Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg and heads the summer school. He holds the title of corresponding member of the St. Petersburg Academy of Science and Art.

He is the vice - president of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists and a member of the St. Petersburg Artists’ Union.
