Christoff is a French painter. He is the son of the famous painter Nicole Lacombe. Since 1978, he has been trained by Philippe Lejeune. His favorite themes are the atmospheres of unusual places such as ports, old hangars, and theaters. Regarding the light that reveals them, he also interests in airplanes, various carcasses, and mechanical parts.
He has won numerous awards, especially the silver and gold medals at the Salon of French Artists, the Tailleur Prize awarded by the Salon d’Automne, the Invalides Prize, the Grand Prize at the Paris Air Show, the Minister of Defense Prize, and the Grace of Monaco Prize. He was appointed as the official painter of the Air Force in 1992, and as the official painter of the Navy and the Army in 1997.
