Poon Yeuk Fai was born in Fujian in 1963. He serves as Secretary‑General of the Hong Kong Oil‑painting Research Society.

From 1989 to 1991, he pursued advanced studies in the Oil‑painting Department at the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

His works have been selected for numerous important exhibitions:

In 1999, his work was featured in the Charriol Foundation Modern Art Exhibition in Hong Kong. He participated in China’s National Fine Arts Exhibition in 1999, 2009 and 2019.

In 2009, his work was shortlisted for the Hong Kong Contemporary Art Biennial Awards. 

In 2010, the joint exhibition Floral Whispers – Blooming Youth by Pan Yuehui and Xu Yuan was held.

1999作品入選夏利豪基金現代藝術展(香港)。
