Linaweek was born in China and subsequently immigrated to New Zealand. In 2012, she relocated to Hong Kong along with her family. During her lifetime, Linaweek maintains a strong interest in art and never ceased her artistic explorations. She continued her art education at HKU Space. She was later fortunate to study oil painting under the guidance of the renowned professional artist Mr. Lin Ming Gang , a well-known “Master of Colour,” a member of Société des Artistes Français, and the Chairman of the Hong Kong Oil Painting Research Society. Immersed in this vibrant artistic environment, Linaweek was deeply influenced by her mentor’s unique style, which ignited her passion for capturing the beauty of nature on canvas.

The paintings of Linaweek often showcase beautiful landscapes rendered in vibrant colours and expressive brushwork, capturing the essence of nature and inviting viewers into a world alive with light and movement. Her artistic inspiration comes from the masterpieces of the great Impressionists as well as the inherent beauty of the natural world.
